At Illumia Medical, we use the Ultraformer Ⅲ (also known as 슈링크 in Korea), a medical grade non-invasive face lifting, anti-ageing and skin tightening solution. The Ultraformer Ⅲ HIFU treatment has clear benefits for lifting and tightening the face.
How is Illumia Medical's Ultraformer Ⅲ different from other HIFU devices?
High Peak Power
The treatment uses 2 engines to generate a high-peak power that reaches optimal power levels for effective treatment results. It does this using MF2 technology so that the high energy does not diffuse to surrounding tissue and hence does not cause any extra pain. This means the patient gets high performance with minimal side effects and minimal pain.
MMFU Thermal Energy
The treatment can generate approximately 65.4 degrees of thermal energy into the dermis, inducing natural coagulation and wound healing.

How Does Ultraformer HIFU Facelift Treatment Work?
Stage 1
Ultrasound energy is directed into the skin dermis layer, causing controlled inflammation to trigger the regeneration of new connective tissue for wound healing.
Stage 2
As the controlled wounds heal, granular tissue begins to form. This process is also known as natural fibroplasia formation.
Stage 3
As collagen is remodeled, it induces a tight and uniform buildup of connective fibers.
Stage 4
Between 3 weeks to 6 months, the patient will notice lesser wrinkles and a smooth, taut complexion, also known as a HIFU lift.

The HIFU Face Lift treatment is designed to target multiple depths of skin whether for treating fine lines and wrinkles or getting rid of stubborn fat near the hips or flanks. Patients can opt to receive customized procedures for various concerns, all in a single treatment.
