Structurally, we divide the nose profile into 3 connected areas:
- Refers to the shorter length of the nose, from the end of the ridge to slightly below the eyebrows. The nose bridge is where your glasses or sunglasses would normally rest on.
- This region can be raised non-surgically using special short nose threads to give a higher bridge.
- Threadlifts hold advantages over fillers in this region as it does not spread over time and result in a flat looking nose.
- This procedure can also help straighten slightly crooked noses or nose humps.

HA Nose Fillers For A Cuter, Raised Nose Tip
In some cases, a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) nose filler might be recommended to give your nose a cuter, raised tip. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in our skin that helps to keep our skin plump and hydrated. It achieves this by bringing moisture to the surface of the skin to make it appear younger.
Depending on your needs, we’ll use a combination of nose sculpting fillers, natural collagen stimulation injections and nose reduction techniques to help you enhance your nose.
Nose fillers enhance the overall natural results of a slimming, more defined nose and last up to 12 to 18 months. Please note that nose fillers are not always required to achieve your desired appearance, and it will depend on your initial consultation with Dr Ram.

FAQs About Illumia Medical’s 3-Step Nose Lift
The number of threads used will vary from individual to individual. On average 6 to 12 threads may be used.
Illumia uses nose threads that provide significant structural support to the nose. It is able to last for a period of 1-2 years or longer. Touch-ups can be scheduled anytime as and when needed.
There is minimal to no-downtime for this procedure, aside from mild swelling, bruising and soreness. You can return to your daily activities immediately after, although certain activities should be avoided. The doctor will discuss this with you during the consultation.
The doctor will plan your nose design and discuss the treatment with you. Some numbing and local anaesthesia will be given to ensure that you are comfortable throughout the procedure. The threads are then inserted and completed in a short time.
The procedure is completed in 15 to 30mins.
